As of 2011, the record for it's longest running show is held by the musical Hairspray, which opened August 15, 2002, and ran for 2,642 performances before closing on January 4, 2009. Recent productions were The Illusionists; Gigi (2015), The Last Ship; All the Way (2014); Big Fish (2013) ad Scandalous; Jesus Christ Super Star (Revival 2012).
